Users get ‘blue screen’ errors.

Users around the world were unable to log into their systems as their devices crashed after powering on. Sources said the issue is likely due to a recent update by CrowdStrike, a US-based cybersecurity company that provides endpoint security to many organizations globally.

A blue screen of death on a Windows device occurs when a critical issue forces the device to shut down or restart to prevent further damage.
