The former prime minister Imran Khan says that he will apologize if PTI workers are shown involved in the CCTV footage of the May 9 tragedy.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan made a bold prediction during an informal conversation with journalists.
During an informal interaction with journalists in jail, the former prime minister predicted that the current government has only two months left in power.
“I am predicting from jail that the government has only two months,” IMRAN KHAN said, adding that the government is “stuck in a quagmire”.
“I have a lot of time, but they’re running out of time. They’re stupid, they don’t understand,” PTI Founder Khan said, expressing confidence in his stance.
The arrested PTI leader dismissed claims that he had tendered an unconditional apology and clarified that his remarks were only for the betterment of Pakistan. He asserted that the perception that I have tendered an unconditional apology is wrong. I am only asking to speak for Pakistan.
The PTI founder rejected any notion of a deal with the government, declaring, “Filing as many cases as you want, I will not make a deal, the deal is made by the one who has committed the crime.”
He further emphasized that if re-elections are held under the present government, his party will not accept them.
Concluding his remarks, he said he had not been approached for talks and only wanted justice for the May 9 incidents.
