BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said that a decision on India’s participation in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan is still pending, as the BCCI wants the government’s approval.
The tournament, scheduled from February 19 to March 9, 2025, will be held in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi, with India’s matches proposed to be played in Lahore. The event will mark the return of the ICC Champions Trophy after a gap of eight years, the last edition of which was in 2017, when Pakistan defeated India in the final.
