Pakistan’s veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik has once again announced his disinterest in playing international cricket for Pakistan. He said that he is happy and satisfied with his career and has no intention of returning to international cricket. Shoaib Malik, who has already retired from two formats, is planning to announce his retirement from all forms of cricket soon. He also suggested that Babar Azam should step down from the white-ball captaincy to focus on his batting, believing that Azam could do wonders for the team as a player.
Malik has had an illustrious career, representing Pakistan in 35 Tests, 287 ODIs, and 124 T20Is, scoring over 11,000 runs and taking 218 wickets. He is the second-highest run-scorer in T20 with 13,360 runs.
