Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to participate in the All Parties Conference of the government. During an informal conversation with journalists in Adiala Jail, he further said that ‘I am consulting about going on a hunger strike, if I don’t get justice, I will go on a hunger strike.’

On Friday, Imran Khan also spoke to his lawyers about this inside the jail. Information Secretary of Tehreek-e-Insaf Rauf Hassan said that Imran Khan thinks that the way the cases were established against him and the way they are being conducted are all against the law.

According to him, the treatment of Imran Khan in jail is not good.

According to Rauf Hassan, “One of the reasons for the hunger strike announcement by Imran Khan is the attitude of Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa.”

He alleged that the Chief Justice becomes part of the bench in the cases against Tehreek-e-Insaaf and then forms the benches at his own will.

Rauf Hasan has made this allegation regarding the Chief Justice in the programs of several private TV channels. According to him, his meeting with Imran Khan on Thursday was also canceled without giving any reason and thus he was not allowed to meet the party leaders.

Ali Muhammad Khan, a senior leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf, who met Imran Khan on Friday, said that Imran Khan has said that if the mandate is not returned and the violation of law continues in the country and political prisoners are not released. He also added that they can go on hunger strike.

Ali Muhammad Khan said that if Imran Khan goes on hunger strike, then there will be protests across the country and then hunger strike camps will be set up from village to village.
