Appeals of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi rejected, sentence upheld

The appeals of suspension of the sentence of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the case of Nikkah during Iddat have been rejected. On Thursday, District and Sessions Judge Afzal Majuka pronounced a reserved judgment on the petitions for suspension of sentence in the Iddat Nikah case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. On February 3, the court sentenced the two accused to seven years in prison in this case. The PTI has announced to challenge this decision in the High Court.
