A recent meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis chaired by Senator Zeeshan Khanzada revealed a shocking statistic: Pakistanis are involved in 50 percent of crimes in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed concern over the high rate of criminal involvement among overseas Pakistanis due to which workers of other nationalities are being prioritized in the UAE.
