The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a fresh reference against Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, alleging that they received gifts from the Saudi Crown Prince during Imran Khan’s prime ministership. The jewelry set was illegally kept. The reference claims that the couple undervalued the jewelry, causing a loss of around Rs 30.28 million to the national exchequer. This is the second Tosha Khana reference against Khan, who is already in jail on other corruption charges. The new reference will be reviewed by the accountability court and may be heard by the same judge who is handling another case against Khan.
