BJP Spreads Hate — Rahul Gandhi refers to the Quranic Verse in Parliament

Why did Rahul Gandhi mention the Prophet of Islam and refer to the Quranic verse in his first speech in Parliament?

Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s speech in the first session of the Lower House in the newly formed Parliament of India is being discussed not only in the House but also on social media.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stood up and interrupted twice during Rahul Gandhi’s speech. Not only this, five central government ministers also protested by standing on their seats.

These ministers include Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiran Rijiju.

Parts of Rahul Gandhi’s speech were also removed from the proceedings of Parliament

The mention of Prophet Islam in Rahul Gandhi’s speech

During his speech, Rahul Gandhi spoke about many issues of the country, but he spent most of his time criticizing the BJP, Prime Minister Modi and his policies.

He accused the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of instilling fear in many sections of the society.

Rahul Gandhi said that ‘Those who call themselves Hindus talk of lies and violence 24 hours a day.

Showing a placard, Rahul Gandhi sent greetings in the name of the Prophet of Islam while quoting a verse from the Muslim religious book of the Qur’an, saying, “He (ALLAH/God) said, ‘Do not be afraid!’ I am here with you, actively hearing and seeing.

He further emphasized that “It has been said in Islam that there should be no fear.

In his speech, Rahul Gandhi read the messages of ‘fearlessness’ in the religions of Sikhism, Buddhism, Jainism and Christianity after Hinduism and Islam.

Later, he wrote on his social media account that every religion teaches that do not be afraid, do not be afraid.

“When BJP spread fear in the country, India (Congress’s ally group) adopted this thinking to protect the constitution and democracy.”

During the same speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stood up and said, “This topic is very serious.” Calling the entire Hindu society violent is very serious.

To which Rahul replied, “Narendra Modi is not the entire Hindu society.” BJP (Narendra Modi’s Party) is not the entire Hindu society. RSS is not the entire Hindu society.
